Back To My Roots...

After 12 years living in the south I've once again moved back up to Lancashire. I've had 12 great years down south, made some great friends and had a superb time. I'd personally like to thank the Sandeman family for their friendship over the last 12 months. You were a great comfort in a difficult time for me.

I hope you've all had a good Christmas and would like to wish you all a very happy 2007!

Back to Bare

All it took was a severe gale to remove the canopy of coppery leaves from the Beech trees. Mind you, that wasn't all that was removed. Having just returned from Henley, I noticed several trees down or missing major limbs this morning. There definately seems to have been a shift in the time when he trees shed their leaves. For the last two years, the trees have still been in leaf well into November.
