Summer Hols

At the beginning of May I spent a weekend at the Lillyfee Wood Carving and Design Studio, on a 2 day introductory Wood Carving Course. It was an eye-opening experience for me, to see that this sort of craftsmanship was still being practiced. I enjoyed the course so much that I have booked on their Summer School, which takes place next week. The perfect sort of holiday!

Latest Carving

I'm currently working on another wood carving, this time of a Puffin. The wood is Lime, a beautiful wood to carve. There is a Work In Progress if you'd like to see how it has developed to this stage.

Do You Take...

Yesterday was just a perfect day for a wedding! Two very good friends of mine, Jess and Alex, tied the knot yesterday. I wish them both a long and happy marriage!
