Wandered Lonely As A Cloud...

Though there was not a daffodil in sight, Grassmere and Rydal Water were beautifully bathed in winter sunshine this past weekend. A still, windless day was a late gift to those who visited the Lakes.

There was plenty of evidence of recent heavy rainfalls, with some spectacular waterfalls and rapids.

One Year, Two Weddings

Saturday saw the wedding of two good friends, Beccy and Ryan. You often hear it said that people were made for each other, and in this case I would say this was true. Good luck for the future to them both.

What a year this has been, weather wise. From the depths of the drought and blazing sunshine to the current situation with tropical downpours occurring.
